Maine Dentistry is seeking a friendly, skilled, and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our growing team in Portland - and potentially in our expanding Gray and Auburn locations. What we offer: • $5,000-$10,000 sign-on bonus • Competitive base pay and bonus structure • Paid time off up to 4 weeks • 401(k) / 401(k) matching • $500/month health insurance stipend • 7-9 paid holidays • 3.5 to 4 day work week Responsibilities: • Perform dental cleanings and preventive hygiene procedures • Take digital X-rays and maintain accurate patient records • Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care • Assist in developing personalized treatment recommendations • Support a positive and comfortable patient experience • Collaborate with doctors and team members to ensure high-quality care Skills & Qualifications: • Proficiency in dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix. • Ability to perform patient care tasks including patient assessment, documentation review, and medical coding. • Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and team collaboration. • Familiarity with EMR systems and medical imaging technology. • Knowledge of infection control protocols, HIPAA compliance, and aseptic techniques within a dental setting.
