We are seeking an experienced (minimum 2 years experience required) full time
dental hygienist to join our team.
Must be licensed, have great communication skills, and be a team player in a
fast paced office environment. Experience with
digital radiographs and charting a must. Must be dedicated to communicating
patient dental health education with focus on preventative care. Proper
understanding of perio and caries progression and prevention protocols required.
As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for:
•Greeting and preparing patients for treatment in a timely, enthusiastic and
•Performing accurate oral health assessments.
•Oral inspection and removal of both hard and soft deposits and stains.
•Identifying and managing periodontal conditions.
•Providing competent non-surgical periodontal therapy and follow up care.
•Presenting periodontal treatment plans and explaining options.
•Providing information and education to patients, including information on
prevention and treatment of oral diseases, both to protect teeth and gums as
well as to protect the patient’s total health.
•Maintaining patient confidentiality.
•Maintaining instrumentation for dental hygiene treatment by sharpening,
sterilizing, and selecting instrument.
•Handling and resolving any patient concerns with enthusiasm and empathy.
*Be willing to assist other team members to achieve and maintain high standard
of care and service in the practice.
