We are offering Top Dollar for an EXPERIENCED Registered Dental Assistant in North Richland Hills, TX. We're a single-doctor private practice serving all ages both in general and cosmetic dentistry. The requirements: - Licensed as an assistant in the state of Texas - Nitrous oxide certified - Radiology certified - Experienced in Eaglesoft dental software (at least 1 year) - Bonus points if you're familiar with the iTero Intraoral Scanner Things that will make you successful in this role: - You can empathize with the patient and make them feel comfortable throughout their visit - Talking about medical history with a patient comes naturally and you're great at taking detailed and accurate notes - You reliably show up to work on time and you're able to bring your best self to the patients - You're respectful to patients and fellow staff, making them feel appreciated and listened to - You take directions well and will begin to notice patterns and anticipate the doctor's needs Things you'll be doing on a day-to-day basis: - Assisting patients chairside - Fabricating Essix retainers/whitening trays - Model pouring and trimming - Fabricating temporary crowns - Adjustment of occlusal guards - Invisalign - iTero scanning - Rubber dam placement - Writing up detailed chart notes - Writing up lab scripts - Impressions - Endodontics - Updating and maintaining patient dental records - Taking high quality radiographs using the Schick sensor - Following all OSHA and bloodborne pathogen federal guidelines
