We are currently seeking several Permanent, Full-Time Registered Dental
Assistants to add to our team of xxx+ employees. CentroMed is recognized in

The Registered Dental Assistant will provide quality care and services to
patients by assisting the dentist and other dental staff in a variety of
dental procedures, patient care, office, and laboratory duties. The RDA will
the efficiency and productivity of patient flow through timely, accurate, and
professional preparation of patients, including taking and processing x-rays.
RDA must be knowledgeable in all dentistry procedures, clinic infection control
procedures, cleaning and sterilization of instruments, tray setup and materials.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
A. Prepare and maintain dental instruments, materials and equipment.
B. Collect and record patient health histories (dental and medical) and record
information for dentist’s reference prior to examination.
C. Help patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment.
D. Conduct work in compliance with office policies and procedures, safety and
E. Expose and process diagnostic quality radiographs.
F. Assist dentist chair-side by organizing and preparing instruments for
use and assisting as needed during procedures.
G. Advise patients in oral hygiene and dental care.
H. Follow through with post-visit duties.
I. Backup the other staff positions, provide relief and support to other staff
functions and perform office duties as requested.
J. Interact positively with a diverse, sometimes difficult, and demanding

Performance will be evaluated by the Director of Community Clinics for Dental
Services using the Performance Evaluation CDB Form xxxxc (Rev 2/94) wherein a
satisfactory overall rating is considered as a minimum acceptable level of
Education: Requires High School Degree or GED and completion certificate from
accredited Dental Assisting Program.
Experience: Two or more year’s dental assisting experience in a dental clinical
License: Current Texas issued Registered Dental Assistant license and
Other: Bilingual(spanish and english) required.
Using fingers to make small movements such a typing or picking up small objects.
Frequently conveying detailed or important instructions or ideas, accurately,
clearly, or quickly.
Able to hear average or normal conversation and receive ordinary information.
Frequently and regularly using the wrists, hands and fingers.
Average, ordinary, visual acuity necessary to prepare to inspect documents, or
