-Explain the procedure and expected postoperative course with the patients and

-Review the patient’s medical history and allergies.
-Verify the referral information is correct and is consistent with the patient’s
expectations and desires.
-Adhere to guidelines to remain compliant with OSHA/HIPPA regulations.
-Take necessary radiographs or CT scans.
-Clean, disinfect and sterilize all instruments, equipment, and surfaces per the
office protocol also being consistent with CDC and OSHA regulations.
-Be actively involved in the monitoring of all patients receiving treatment.
This includes patients with local anesthesia, general anesthesia/ IV sedation as
well as nitrous oxide analgesia.
-Monitor patients in recovery after general anesthesia and discuss postoperative
care with escorts prior to discharging the patient from the office.
-Provide basic follow-up care for patients as needed, such as dry socket packing
-Answer and return patient calls regarding clinical questions or concerns.
-Prepare instrument trays and required equipment needed for planned procedures.
-Maintain active RDA license as well as required continuing education.
-Comply with all requirements for employment with Hunter Oral & Implant Surgery
as are listed on provided document prior to beginning employment.
