Anderson Dental is an established, state of the art, dental practice in Lake Worth, FL and Royal Palm Beach, FL. We have beautiful offices; latest equipment and we deliver superior dental treatment. We are expanding and looking for an enthusiastic Dental Assistant to become a part of our growing team. In addition to our full-service dental procedures, we offer Invisalign (Preferred Provider), CEREC, and Implants. We are seeking an outgoing, enthusiastic, and compassionate Dental Assistant with at least two years’ experience in general dentistry. The position requires you to be a well-organized professional and have a strong sense of duty while still maintaining a friendly and helpful demeanor. This is a stable, FULL TIME position. Salary and benefits will be commensurate with your experience and skill level. --------------------------- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS --------------------------- Assist dentist in performing services by preparing patients in chair and handling required instruments, equipment and dental plastics. Sterilize instruments and keep office stocked with required supplies. Arrange and maintain appointment schedule. Keep records of patients. Review and audit all assigned areas regularly for contractual compliance and effectiveness of delivery of services to student. Prepare related reports. Provide postoperative and oral hygiene instructions as prescribed by the dentist. Maintain a safe and clean work area that models high standards for a work environment. Assist in taking patient Xrays. Perform limited clerical duties, utilizing knowledge of medical terminology, clinic or laboratory procedures; type correspondence, reports; operate office equipment. Interview incoming patients and record information required. Measure ingredients and prepare dental amalgam. Conduct inventory and receive supplies. --------------------------- EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS --------------------------- Outgoing Patient and Team Focused Attention to detail At least two years related experience Current x-ray certification Current BLS and CPR certification Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency required.
