We have launched our Center of Excellence (CoE) organization in our corporate office to centralize the referring dentist and patient calls for scheduling appointments, verifying patient insurance as well as handling the billing processes with healthcare plans. The CoE will result in quicker turnaround times, better quality results and exceptionl patient care. We are searching for a Patient Services Specialist who will have one of the most important roles in the office; The face and smile of our practice projected through each and every call you take. The right individual will have the support of a highly skilled, trained office staff to guarantee a successful transition into this role. As a Patient Services Specialist, you will be able to focus your time on providing the very best patient attention in a compassionate and loving environment. Responsibilities: • Assist our patients and dental office groups with their scheduling procedures for clinical visits • Answering calls promptly with love for our patients projecting a positive caring attitude with each conversation • Have a good understanding of scheduling, insurance and billing processes performed in dental offices • Dependable with an organized mindset • Must enjoy interacting with patients and working in a team environment • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Assist with: • Processing and posting payments • Setting up and maintaining primary insurance information on patient records • Submitting claims to insurance companies • Insurance verification and payments • Prepare detailed patient “out of pocket” estimate Minimum Education and Experience: • High school diploma or equivalent • Ideally 3+ years of customer focused experience • Required 3+ years of call center experience Benefits: • BCBS Primary Health • Secondary Medical Coverage • Dental • Vision • Life Insurance • Short Term Disability • Long Term Disability • Accident Insurance • Flexible Spending Account • Dependent Childcare Assistance Program • Paid time off Due to the volume of resumes we receive; we ask to only apply once per open requisition.
