Description

We have an immediate opening for a Dental Receptionist here at Kellogg Endodontics. The Dental Receptionist for this position will have experience working as a Receptionist in a dental office with excellent customer service skills. We are looking for a Dental Receptionist that has experience with verifying different types of dental insurance plans (HMOs/PPOs). Knowledge of dental terminology is a must. We prefer a candidate that is a team player and has a positive attitude with exceptional multi-tasking abilities to join our amazing team. Responsibilities: The following duties are noted; however, other duties may be assigned: • Assist in the coordination with our referring doctors • Assist as needed to make financial arrangements with the responsible Party/parties to cover the cost of dental treatment • Handle patient inquiries in a through and timely manner • Assist with reviewing treatment plans and fees with patients • Follow up daily on insurance inquiries • Print and send pre-authorizations when needed, attaching films and Documentation as required • Assist with contacting patients immediately upon receipt of predetermination notices, schedule appointments or note follow-ups in patient’s chart • Assist with making sure patients have made financial arrangements prior to beginning treatment • Assist in preparing and sending Thank You cards and referral gifts • Accurately complete all closing duties at the end of the day • Act as receptionist Qualifications: Required Skills: • 1-2 years of experience working in a dental • Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO), is a plus • Experience answering telephone • Must have exceptional customer service skills. Bi- lingual a preferred. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $14.00 - $19.00 per hour COVID-19 considerations: Universal precautions
