Registered Dental Assistant: As a Dental Assistant for our team, patient care is your #1 priority and focus. Your ability to add value and improve the patient experience will play a major role in the delivery of extraordinary dental care. Dental Assistants are a critical part of our mission because they not only support the patient, they provide the doctor with valuable assistance on patient procedures. The Dental Assistant has direct responsibility for the patient’s excellent experience while in the chair, and patient retention overall. We are searching for a like-minded, driven and team-oriented talented individual who wants to provide excellent customer service for the patient, provide precise support to the doctor, and possess an amiable chair-side manner. Flexibility, analytical skills, collaboration, and follow-up are all needed in our dynamic state-of-the-art practice environment. Responsibilities: Warmly greet patients as welcomed guests to our office, ensuring patients are seated promptly. Ensure rooms are appropriately set up prior to patient arrival Maintain sterilization Record treatment information in patient records in a timely manner. Use digital and intraoral camera to take patient photographs. Fabricate temporary restorations or custom impressions from preliminary. Impressions Skills/Abilities: Experience in a professional environment with direct patient contact preferred Excellent positive attitude and customer service skills Professionalism and integrity in all aspects of the job, including image and both verbal and written communication skills. Possess exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills, including conflict resolution skills Strong organization, planning and analytical skills. Ability to multi-task and remain calm in a rapidly changing environment Computer proficiency and the ability to learn new programs as required. Working knowledge of dental equipment and terminology, superior customer service skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills. * Requirements: A minimum of 2 years RDA experience Dedicated to delivering excellent customer service. Must be friendly, professional and highly organized. Dentrix knowledge is a must. Perform the usual and customary procedures of a Registered Dental Assistant while ensuring a service oriented and professional dental experience for every patient. * In addition to oral procedures, Assistant must be organized and self- motivated, coordinate patient flow with front and back offices, and educate patients on dental hygiene. * Accurately and promptly maintain and record performance activities via daily, weekly, and monthly practice monitors. * Ability to coordinate with the Office Manager and Managing Doctor and work as a team * Ability to utilize state-of-the-art computer systems *Able to fabricate temporary crowns *Preferably can use Itero Scan. Education/Certification: Must have a current RDA License, current CPR Certification Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required, Current radiography certification required, License/certifications as required by the State, Current certification to monitor Nitrous Oxide/Oxygen Analgesia preferred Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training. Must successfully complete training. We are a Monday through Friday practice
