We are looking for an experienced office manager who is both empathetic with patients and well-versed in practice management. Our team is very skilled clinically / administratively, and our long-term patients return year after year because of our outstanding customer service and patient care. We are looking for an office manager who is skilled at the following: • Working closely with the doctor to deliver case presentations. Our case acceptance is quite high because of the collaboration between office manager and doctor. • Understanding how to be flexible with patients when needed to make treatment affordable. We do not believe in rigidity or a one-size-fits-all option. • Remaining calm even when patients are not. • Managing staff with the right mix of empathy and assertiveness. • Overseeing the major functions of the front office: insurance, collections, scheduling, recall, and customer service. • Guiding internal marketing efforts and collaborating with external marketing vendors. • Managing time effectively. In addition, our ideal candidate is driven to take continuing education to improve existing skills and learn new ones. We are seeking someone with a strong dental background who is an excellent communicator and collaborator. Experience with Dentrix is a plus. The practice has patient hours on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
