Description

Director of Clinical Support Services Dental Assistant Supervisor Makes work assignments for dentists, assistants and hygienists. SKILLS: a.) Advanced knowledge of dental assisting across multiple disciplines of practice, with demonstrated ability to provide guidance and direction to staff dentists, dental assistants and hygienists. b.) Skill in coordinating clinical workflow and assignments. c.) Ability to assist in clinical support systems development, outcome management, and strategic planning. d.) Sill in acting as liaison between clinical and administrative staff. MUST TRAVEL BETWEEN 2-3 PRACTICE LOCATIONS. Salary Range: $50,000 to $65,000 per year DUTIES: Floor management: Make clinic floor assignments and maintains efficient clinical patient flow. Trains dental assistants in clinical care, record keeping of radiographs/images, treatment plans and sequencing. Ensures daily, weekly and monthly clinical and administrative tasks are completed. Maintains good working relationship between clinical and administrative staffs. Conducts performance reviews and administers promotions and disciplinary actions. Provides input in developing the Clinic Manual and maintains all compliance manuals and records to include Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). Maintains appropriate dental supplies stock levels and inventories. Serves as a liaison between the schedulers and providers to maintain efficient and productive use of restorative and hygiene patient care time. Ensures the clinical staff maintains their work areas in a clean and operational condition and reports and resolves issues in a timely manner. Ensures the dental treatment area and equipment is in compliance with infection control and security policies. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Completed a formal Dental Assisting Program Five (5) years dental assisting experience Current RDA License
