Description

We are looking for a person who has exception customer service, loves to work with people and is a GREAT TEAM PLAYER! This office is a well established General and Cosmetic practice in Highland Park, Texas. Looking for someone with 2-5 years Dental Management experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Respond efficiently to patient and doctor needs and inquires - Ensure the delivery of quality dental care to patients - Resolve patient issues in accordance with company policies and procedures, healthcare regulations and dental board standards - Manage patient scheduling and direct patient traffic flow - Present treatment plans to patients - Organize and present financial arrangements to patients - Oversee the processing of dental claims - Coordinate with dental insurance companies to ensure claims are paid - Determine staff schedules and ensure operational standards are met - Monitor and maintain the office budget - Organize and oversee supply purchases - Complete administrative functions including bank deposits, check posting, and staff payroll - Oversee collections and accounts receivable - Support marketing and promotion initiatives - Maintain patient data according to regulations and company policies - Ensure that records are stored securely and in compliance with privacy and security regulations - Take responsibility for the appearance and functionality of the office - Maintain facilities and equipment in accordance with hygiene and safety regulations including OSHA - Greets and checks-in patients, updates all necessary patient information and insurance. - Answers phones and schedules and/or cancels patient’s appointments appropriately, answers inquiries about procedures, cost, and insurance. Experience with working on outstanding insurance claims. - Responds to email, online, and voicemail appointment requests and inquiries. - Communicate with patients via phone, email and text message utilizing Patient Management software - Follows up with patients for next visit procedures when they are overdue for an appointment, and/or need to schedule treatment. - Must have the ability to multi-task and handle the pressure of a fast-paced environment. - Dentrix experience is a PLUS!
