Dental - Front Office Administrator - Atlanta, GA Colony Square Dental Associates is a well-respected, busy, two-doctor traditional, practice in Midtown Atlanta. We are seeking a confident, qualified individual to join our front office team and assist in providing a warm and caring environment and excellence in customer service. Our candidate is one who is able to both interact with patients and team members in a positive manner and has the skills necessary to manage the internal administrative daily tasks of our office. The ability to multi-task, be detail oriented and organized, learn quickly, and maintain a positive, friendly attitude are traits we are seeking. Being a team-player is critical to success. Our front office works together; while each member has individual responsibilities, all are cross-trained to step into another’s role to keep our office running smoothly. A minimum of three years work experience is necessary. Dental experience is preferred. Skills: • Must be able to effectively communicate in person, on the phone and in written correspondence with insurance carriers, doctors and patients • Proficient in basic computer programs (Excel, Word, etc.) along with a proven ability to learn new software programs. Prior dental or medical software experience is a plus • Aptitude for precise documentation; ability to handle financial transactions and arrangements accurately; able to file dental insurance, evaluate the explanation of benefits and follow up with dental insurance carriers as needed • Ability to run reports, analyze data, synthesize data into constructive implementation of new or modified protocols • Able to document and process dental insurance claims, evaluate EOBs, respond to insurance carriers as needed, understand cross-coding from dental to medical insurance and completion of CMS 1500 experience is desirable. Responsibilities: • Handle incoming and outgoing patient calls • Manage appointment books for doctors and hygienists • Checkout patients after procedures, schedule appointments, and collect payments • Explain treatment needs to patients • Develop financial arrangement plans for patients • Understand dental insurance plans; discuss plans with patients • Run reports, balance finances, verify insurance coverage, file dental claims, follow up on claims as needed • Correspond with patients, doctors and vendors as needed Our office offers: • Ability to work in an office that follows the protocols recommended by the ADA and the CDC for the health and safety of our treatment team and our patients.
