Started in 2010, CDP now supports more than 30 dental practices that serve more than 175,000 patient visits each year. The company continues to grow 20% or more annually by building new practices and partnering with dentists with existing locations. POSITION OVERVIEW: The Registered Dental Assistant will support doctors during treatment exams and all necessary functions. RDA’s are responsible for performing all duties of a Registered Dental Assistant while providing quality customer service and maintaining a professional relationship and positive attitude with co-workers and patients alike. This position will be responsible for and do the following: Greet and prepare patients for dental care Capture quality x-ray images Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures Set up and breakdown treatment rooms Provide patients with instructions for oral care Independently provide teeth polishing and sealant procedures Requirements EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent Bilingual - English/Spanish and RDA Certified is a must Dental Assisting: 1+ years Knowledge of dental terminology and dental procedures Knowledge of front and back office procedures Familiar with Open Dental Software preferred Familiar with Sterilization Familiar with OSHA guidelines and procedures Current Certification to monitor Nitrous Oxide preferred Experience in a professional environment with direct patient contact preferred BENEFITS OFFERED: Hep B Shot Series Scrubs Advancement Opportunities Competitive Compensation Health, Dental, Vision, 401K Our Company is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
