IMMEDIATE DENTAL ASSISTANT POSITION Registered Dental Assistant (RDA). This opportunity will be 4 days a week Monday through Thursday and does require working one Saturday(4 hrs only) a month. We are seeking an individual who share the passion and vision of our practice. Positive, high energy, dependable, articulate and focused individuals in pursuit of a career in general dentistry, who enjoy working within a team and desires a positive upbeat work environment. A professional with exceptional customer service skills, computer literacy, works independently and anticipates team and doctor needs. In addition, this individual must be competent and knowledgeable in all aspects of general dentistry. Qualified candidate must have the following: Current RDA (registered dental assistant) certification, Current CPR certification, Radiology certification Preferred certification: Coronal Polishing, Nitrous Oxide monitoring and Sealant Application will be plus. New graduated are encouraged to apply. Willing to train. Duties Include but not limited to: Assist dentist in all dental procedures, confident in four handed dentistry. Set up and breakdown operatory Take FMX and Pano. Prepare and sterilize instruments, hand pieces and other equipment. Give pre-operative and post-operative instructions. Educate patients and discuss treatment options. Follow up with patients after treatment. Document dental treatment in patient records. Take quality alginate impressions. Prepare and monitor lab cases. Monitor and order dental supplies. Routine maintenance of dental equipment. Greet patients, check in/out, answer phones, make and confirm appointments and provide. excellent customer service to our patients. Perform basic computer functions. Perform various office tasks as necessary. Direct patient flow through teamwork and communication. Ability to build rapport with patients. Caring personality and team player. Ability to be flexible, and adaptable to change. Punctual, organized, and efficient. Willing to follow instructions and complete tasks on time. Additional Qualifications: Friendly, reliable, responsible and welcoming personality, familiar with dental terminology, great customer service skills, curious and interested in learning new things, willing to grow the practice and work as a team, willing and able to follow written and verbal instructions, ability to communicate to colleagues and patients in a professional manner.
