We are now looking for a front desk person that will be focused on keeping our hygiene schedule booked HYGIENE COORDINATOR- although I would much prefer this person have assisting experience so we have the possibility of getting help on occasion in treatment rooms if needed! A few notes about myself and our office-- Im Kip Anderson, the owner and dentist at Anderson Dentistry in Colleyville, TX. We also have a second office with another full time dentist who has been there for 7 years. Both offices could use help keeping their hygiene book full, and we would like someone motivated who can help grow that part of our practice to incorporate more hygiene days. Both offices have a wonder group of people working in them, and both enjoy a busy but short 4 day work week. Colleyville uses Dentrix, and Bedford uses Eaglesoft-- and we incorporate Dental Intel to manage both offices. The Colleyville office is out of network, but accepts insurance, and the Bedford office is about 8 insurance plans. Both offices focus on dentistry for one patient at a time and we dont overlap schedules or do assisted hygiene or anything that would cram patients in or compromise care for our clients. Dentistry can be a tough field to be in at times- but we care for our patients and team very much and are always working diligently to make the best workplace environment for all! Were most interested in someone with energy, who is an outgoing people person, and thats happy to talk on the phone most of the day and coordinate our best possible schedule. You must be professional and friendly! This is a career that never ends because patients are always moving the schedule when they have issues arise. Were looking for a good LONG term fit, we want someone who will function well with our team and be happy-- Wed ideally like someone stable looking for a job they can stay with for 10 years or more! We need someone goal oriented who can take charge and work through issues as they arise. Secondary to that, having someone with at least a little assisting experience would be a plus-- because I love the idea of a backup if we need it. Because were a small office, everyone chips in, and does a little of everything. Our other full time front desk help may need you to check someone out or check on an insurance claim, help clean instruments, etc... but they primary goal is to keep hygiene booked! This role may be needed in both offices-- so if you like variety it would be great-- it could be you be in each office 2 days a week or maybe 3 days in one and 1 day in the other. Its just whatever it takes to get the job done! Flexibility is helpful, and fortunately the offices are 10 minutes apart. Its also possible this could be less than a 4 day a week position for the right person, but full time would be preferred. I prefer applicants who actually fill out their application! Photo is a big plus. We like phone interviews followed by in person interviews, and a working interview before hiring. Pay is negotiable but it really helps to know what youre looking for, and were currently investigating getting medical insurance for full time employees, possibly 401k as well.
