Dental Assistant Sugar Land Dental Office looking for an exceptional Registered Dental Assistant to join our progressive and dedicated dental team. This fee for service practice provides general, cosmetic and sleep dentistry with a focus on the whole patient. This role will assist in creating the best experience for our patients through sincere patient care, elegant communication, and being available to field questions and support our 5 star team. Candidates must have: - Minimum 3 years proven clinical experience in a quality dental practice. - Proficiency in Eaglesoft (or Dentrix, Open Dental etc.) - Customer service attitude with positive and sunny disposition a plus! - Professional attitude and appearance. - Self-starter, ability to work independently and focus on results. - Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks. - Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise - Solid written and verbal communication skills - Accuracy in data entry, notes and messaging, etc. - Coachable and willing to learn. - References must be available. Job Description: - Ensure all patients have an exceptional experience. - Document patients medical history. - Take and develop dental x-rays. - Assist dentist during treatment procedures. - Provide exceptional patient care and clear instructions on proper oral hygiene. - Breakdown, clean and set up rooms with appropriate infection control protocol. - Prepare, pack and sterilize instruments and equipment. - Order supplies and restock inventory. - Maintain HIPAA and OSHA regulations. - Stay current on new technologies and techniques offered by practice. - Stay current on dental coding and terminology. - Perform administrative tasks as needed. - Full-time Mon - Fri Schedule
