Responsibilities - Scheduling, confirming, preparation for and follow up after appointments for new and existing patients - Maintaining the schedule to coordinate each day effectively - Maintaining and processing all patient information and health records - Managing the patient pre-qualifications and pre-authorizations process - Understanding patient treatment plans and monitoring treatment progress - Providing excellent customer service when interacting patients by building rapport - Requesting feedback from patients on how our office can improve their experience - Continuing education via opportunities Providing direct support to the doctor by - Assisting with Exams - Notification of any developments - Preparing treatment plan documents - Collaborating with the team to improve productivity and systems Support the sales of the office by: - Understanding patient goals and motivators - Educating patients on the benefits, risks, and costs of various treatments - Understanding and communicating the value of the treatment’s benefit in relation to cost when presenting estimates for treatment, and answering questions - Ensuring patients begin the treatment plan as soon as possible - Maintaining an understanding of a patient’s budget and discussing benefits - Obtaining and monitoring payments/commitments to pay - Adhering to all company financial policies - Requesting referrals from satisfied patients Requirements - Dental office management experience required - Customer service experience required - Relevant degree is a bonus - Full-time availability - A passion for making people smile!
