Our practice mission is to provide the best possible conservative and ethical dental treatment in a caring, down-to-earth and comfortable family-oriented environment. This has been the practice philosophy for the past 54 years, and we will always strive to keep this as the standard of care in our office. We have a very nice, down-to-earth patient base. Many of our patients have been patients for many years and many are a part of the multiple generations of families seen at our practice. After practicing for 23 years, one of our hygienist has recently announced her plans to retire from practice. We are looking for the right person to fill the soon to be vacancy. Our ideal hygienist has experience, is enthusiastic, team- oriented, fun-loving, and hard working. Candidates must possess excellent clinical skills, educate patients on proposed treatment and periodontal health, chart existing restorations and proposed treatment, perio chart, take all necessary radiographs, sterilize room and instruments per OSHA regulations. Additional expectations of candidates are: • Provide superior patient care and service; exhibit outstanding customer service and hospitality as well as chair side manner • Ability to take high-quality digital x-rays • Provide treatment that helps to prevent oral diseases such as dental caries and periodontal disease. • Provide treatment for periodontal issues such as scaling and root planing, periodontal maintenance, application of medication (Arestin) • Make best attempt to stay on schedule as much as possible to create no patient wait time • Help to manage patient flow • Knowledge of Eaglesoft is a big plus, but we can teach this if needed. • Apply preventive materials to the teeth (e.g., sealants and fluorides) • Educate patient on oral hygiene, health, disease as well as procedures and services • Take and record patients’ blood pressure accurately • Verify and update patient medical history changes in chart • Take alginate impressions on occasion • Maintain accurate and legible notes in patients chart • Assist with other office duties as requested or needed Office Environment Description • Private Practice - PPO and Fee for Service office. • Very caring dentists focused on quality care for patients. • Many of our patients and their families have been with us for decades! • Paperless charting and patient management. • Completely digital radiographs. • Great team atmosphere. • No evenings or Saturdays ever! • 401(k) with match • Continuing education opportunities provided Immediate availability!
