PATIENT CARE COORDINATOR Before we start… We want you to know we work diligently to ensure all our patients and staff feel safe and protected while in our office. We have plexi-glass Barriers in the reception area, perform pre-entry temperature check and questionnaires, utilize UV light sterilization, and equipped our office with an industrial grade Air Purification System in addition to individual units for the operatories and reception areas. We have all the proper PPE for the staff and are CDC COVID-19 compliant. We are a small office that does not triple book our patients. Candidate must be dependable and reliable! AS OUR PATIENT CARE COORDINATOR YOU WILL BE OFFERED: • Training, mentorship, and career development in your role • The opportunity to work on a vast array of procedures and new techniques. • Competitive hourly pay based on experience • Paid vacation days and Personal Days • Paid breakfast and lunch supplied by the Doctor when working on Saturday • Office competitions and awards • Surprise lunches • Yearly Uniform allowance • Free Dental benefits and Health Insurance Option • Modern office with the latest in technology and high Infection Control Protocols ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: - Production Based Scheduling - Gathering and Updating all patient forms and records - Keeping appointment book full - Claims Submission and Follow-up - Insurance Verification - Data Entry - Recall Tracking and scheduling - Collections at time of service -Making and Taking Calls - E-mailing, Faxing, Texting MAJOR DUTIES: • Maintaining a productive workflow • Assist Business Manager in projects and assignments • Reinforces Office policies and procedures with patients when required • Claims tracking for accuracy and timely billing • Records patients insurance information, identification and all forms. • Update and review medical history and ensure that all computerized alerts are in patient chart • Promotes office-marketing items • Respond to calls, text and emailing in a professional and timely manner • Shares maintenance duties when and where able • Update patient recall intervals in system for tracking and scheduling purposes DESIRED SKILLS: • Experience using Dentrix a plus • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to welcome all patient ‘s with warmth and professionalism • Strong Team work attitude with a smile Must be a take charge individual that seeks to maintain accurate record and accounts that loves making our patients feel special and welcomed (THIS IS A MUST). You will receives general supervision from Office Manager regarding unusual problems, emergencies or new situations and direct patient treatment supervision from the Provider.
