You walked in prepared and ready! • A half mouth of SRP’s utilizing lasers and anti-microbial rinses in the first hour. • The next 3 hours are filled with 3 recall patients that are handed off to our treatment coordinator for their records and recall exam when needed. • Lunch can be enjoyed in the staff lounge or taking a short walk to several close by options. • Your patient after lunch benefits from Arestin placed in some stubborn pockets. • Another patient comes back for their second half of SRP’s and is now ready to be scanned for Aligners by the assistant and our in house digital orthodontist. • The last of your 8 patients has a suspicious lesion, so the patient is handed off to the assistant and a CT, where a pa lesion is found. • Get ready for a once a week meeting with our Regional Manager to discuss your individual Key Performance Indicators and how you can be better yourself. This position might be for you if: • You love the never ending list of fun things to do in sunny Southern California. • You want to learn to communicate with patients without the pressure of “SELLING DENTISTRY.” • You understand that case acceptance doesn’t necessarily happen today, but rather over time with a quality relationship in place first. • You believe in getting better every day. • You love to have fun and you have tons of energy, and you share both with your team and patients. • You are competitive, both with yourself and others, as it contributes to your growth and ability to deliver your “gift” of dentistry. • You are self-driven and will take initiative to improve processes to make Digital Smiles better. • You love people and seek to develop lasting relationships with your patients and your team. This job isn’t for you if: • You resist change and believe that the “way things have always been done” is always the best path. • You are looking for a short term job. • You like to sit around and watch paint dry, or simply “punch the clock.” • You plan to make patients wait around. What Winning Looks Like How we will measure your performance: • It ain’t perfect, but the production of dentistry (in dollars) really aligns with how well you are delivering care to the population. We will be measuring your performance daily, weekly, monthly, etc and expect you to be comfortable with this and have a continual desire to improve your outcomes. • We measure patient satisfaction scores specific to every provider, and we will be asking patients if they trust you and if they want to return after meeting you. Our success as an industry is directly ties to how well our patients feel that we’ve met their needs, and we expect you to do everything in your power to make this work. • % of appointment that start late, because we value the time of our customers! Deal Breakers Deal Breakers (If these don’t fly, don’t apply…. And please don’t lie): • You must love Digital Dentistry. • You must love to work with lasers, anti-microbial rinses and the latest innovations in hygiene. • You must desire the best for everyone around you. Summary: To land this gig, we really need you to have experience with (or the desire to learn) lasers and anti-microbial treatments. Working with our General Dentist, Orthodontist and Oral Surgeon virtually to make complex treatment plans as simple as possible. Being able to explain the benefits of CAD/CAM dentistry is a huge plus. If you don’t fit the description above, you won’t like working with us, but if the shoe fits you can expect a life-changing experience that will change your perspective on your career.
