This is a Full-time in office position. Tiny Teeth is looking for Check IN/OUT to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and engaged. The dental receptionist helps ensure that the office works efficiently while providing a professional, friendly point of communication for patients and associates. Responsibilities • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner • Answer and screen phone calls, prepare for next day verify eligibility with Medicaid and ppo plans • Organize and schedule patient appointments as needed • Maintaining office cleanliness and organization of resources • Dental Charting and Treatment Planning • Completing and filling insurance forms and dental billing records • Translating dental services into proper billable codes • Managing office inventory and supplies • Communicating with dental supply vendors, familiar with MCOs portals. • Office duties include documenting, scanning, obtaining patient information Qualifications • Teamwork skills (extremely important) • Proven experience as an outstanding receptionist • Knowledge of spreadsheets and word processing documents • Excellent customer service skills and courteous phone manner • Time-management, organizational skills, and multitasking abilities • Computer literacy in basic applications like email, Microsoft Office, and Dentrix G17 • Understanding of dental office procedures and workflow Schedule: • Day shift • Monday to Friday Education: • High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: • Dental office experience: 1 year (Preferred) • Dental Insurance: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: • One location Clinical Setting: • Specialty Pediatric Clinic Benefit Conditions: • Waiting period may apply Work Remotely: • NO COVID-19 Precaution(s): • Personal protective equipment provided or required • Temperature screenings • Social distancing guidelines in place • Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place
