Front office rock star needed!! Moorehead Family Dentistry is seeking an organized, initiative driven person looking to grow in their dental front office skills and knowledge. This is a Full Time (5 Day/wk) office administrative position. Work for a growing and innovative dental practice in Batavia, OH in our newly renovated office. This role coordinates the patient’s appointment and experience, often being the first point of contact via phone, email or in person. Previous dental front office experience is required. We offer competitive pay, weekly bonus incentive, 401k matching, and opportunities to serve the community as a staff. We are looking to fill this position immediately. Tasks include: • Scheduling patient appointments (we use provider time scheduling) • Providing a high level of customer support via phone calls, email and in person • Answering patient phone calls (on a limited basis) • Facilitating patient check in and check out processes, including taking payment • Utilizing patient management software Open Dental to manage patient and insurance info • Manage outside insurance verifiers to ensure information has been entered correctly • Filling out prior authorizations for IV Sedation/extraction procedures • Confirming patient appointments and filling openings in schedule • After initial training, role may involve presenting treatment plans and facilitating financing options Growth Opportunities Include: • Growing into expertise with insurance management, prior authorizing large cases and claims management • Leading a team through morning meetings and office wide tasks and projects • Learning how to present complex treatment plans • Sending claims, negotiating fee schedules, and arranging patient financing. Skills and Abilities: • Previous dental front office experience is a requirement • Strong ability to organize information and keep track of steps completed in a process. • Friendly Customer Service with experience making professional phone calls • A heart to care for the patients that we serve • Self motivated while be able to handle and account for specific tasks • Ability to multi-task between phone calls, data entry, and patient interaction • Handles fast paced environment with unwavering customer service • Experience in software including: Microsoft office suite, Windows Mail, Internet Browser, Digital Scanner, Open Dental (Dentrix or other healthcare patient management software) • Experience with a digital (VOIP) phone system is a plus
