This is a management position. Candidates must have at minimum of 2 years experience as a dental office manager. Candidates not meeting this requirement will not be considered. Large, cosmetic, dental office in Concord is looking for a professional, EXPERIENCED Front Office Manager. The Front Office Manager position is critical to achieving excellence in the delivery of patient care while creating a positive working environment. The Manager is responsible for supervising, and coordinating staff and front office activities to provide a five-star experience. The manager will work closely with the owner dentists to assure that all financial, clinical, and quality goals along with patient satisfaction goals are achieved for the practice. The manager along with the owners will also establish and implement policies and procedures for the practice, evaluate personnel work quality on a regular basis, review reports, prepare and manage budgets, and supervise other activities and projects, as required. The position also oversees the business and patient care support functions such as appointment scheduling, check-in, check out, treatment plan presentation, and financial management. The clinical operations include managing front desk staff. In addition, it includes coordinating schedules with assistants, hygienists, dentists and to help provide maximum efficiency within the practice. Who we are looking for: The manager requires limited supervision and should be capable of acting independently. The candidate must have the ability to prioritize, organize and coordinate work and have the ability to work effectively with many people at various levels of the organization. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required, along with the ability to handle multiple tasks and appropriately prioritize. The ability to clearly communicate with internal and external customers, including, but not limited to, patients, co-workers, management, dentists, and visitors is a must. Certainly, the ability to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy in accordance with HIPAA and policy is required. The candidate should be proficient in P.C. software applications including, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc. General knowledge of front and back-office clinical policies and procedures required. Relative training and guidelines are available, however, interpretation and original problem solving are required. Assignments are given in terms of broad organizational goals and objectives. Goal attainment is reviewed with the owner on a regular basis through formal and informal discussions. This unique individual must have the following: 1) 2+ years of dental management experience 2) Extensive knowledge of Eaglesoft is required. 3) An upbeat personality 4) Strong working knowledge of clinical dentistry, front office administration, NC Medicaid, dental insurance, billing, and collection. 5) Must have leadership qualities and strong supervisory and customer service skills. 6) Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus.
