Description

We are looking for a full time front desk/administrative employee to join our team. Customer service skills and dental terminology are preferred. We are a private office, so someone who is a team player, hard-working and reliable is a must. Front desk associate interacts with all patients, generally before and after their dental treatment. They are the first impression and final memory the patient receives about Gulfton Dental. Qualifications and Requirements: Bilingual, English and Spanish is required. High School Diploma or equivalent, dental knowledge, basic insurance claim and dental code knowledge, experience in Eaglesoft Software, good grooming and professional image, black scrubs as uniform, Respectful, courteous and help full to all patients and staff, Reliable transportation, able travel between two locations if needed, locations are exactly 1 mile apart. Daily activities will be coordinated by management Greet all patients as if they were a guest in your home. Address all patients by their last name. Build trust through a caring demeanor. Answer question in full and in a timely manner. Provide comforting and reassuring answers to reduce anxiety. Pull and organize charts one day in advance. Prepare and present treatment plans with correct copay and insurance benefit information. Conduct financial agreements with patients. Assist patient with payments and any related questions. Maintain waiting area cleanliness. Process End of Day, balance checks and cash. Assure next-day appointments are confirmed. Maintain a full schedule by calling past due patients and pending treatment patients. Provide patient with Pre appoint all re care visits. Recap with patients what they are appointed for and if copay is required. Reassure patients of what to expect after treatment and provide patient verbal post op instructions and post op forms. Next day post op calls. Create and submit claims. Provide patient receipt and appointment card. Promote Gulfton Dental by attending neighborhood events or visiting local businesses and distributing flyers and goodie bags to the public. Self-management: Exhibit self-confidence when interacting with patients. Respond well under pressure. Manage own behavior to prevent or reduce feelings of stress. Gain trust and respect of patients. Adapts to change. Employees are regularly required to use hands and handle files, objects, tools, or controls. The employee frequently required to move up to 5 pounds and occasionally lift and/ or move up to 25 pounds.
