Overview The Credits and Refunds Specialist performs review of all credit balances within Revenue Cycle. Job duties include, but are not limited to, analyzing all credit balances both patient and insurance and process patient and insurance refunds. They will perform these duties while meeting the regulatory compliance requirements and Escheatment laws per state. Responsibilities oCredits and Refunds Specialist will review accounts with a credit balance o Generate overpayment documents to insurance carriers or patients o Confirm credit balances and gather necessary documentation for processing refunds o Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications o Medical/Dental Office; Insurance, or Billing background preferred o Must demonstrate basic computer knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. o Dental Practice Management System knowledge preferred (Dentrix, Open Dental, Eaglesoft) o Great oral and written communication skills o Strong attention to detail o Ability to prioritize workload to achieve set timelines/goals o Ability to work independently and with a team PI181107630
