Five years of orthodontic assisting is preferred. Pay range is $18-23 an hour depending on experience. Responsibilities Some responsibilities include: •Passing instruments during treatment •Changing out wires •Adjusting fit of Invisalign trays •Adjusting retainer fit •Taking x-rays •Providing at-home instructions for proper orthodontic care •Preparing and taking patient molds •Setting up, tracking, and monitoring patients payment plans for braces treatment A top-quality candidate will possess the following skills: technical expertise, critical thinking, physical skill and capability, and teamwork skills.
