Job Description Our outstanding dental practice is seeking an exceptional Dental Assistant for an opportunity to join our dedicated team. We specialize in Preventive and cosmetic dentistry. We’re dedicated to helping our patients maintain optimal oral health and achieve their smile goals. Who Were Looking For Looking for an experienced RDA for a busy, fun, and energetic family private practice. Applicant must have a great attitude, be team oriented and display professionalism and compassion. We specialize is preventive, cosmetic dentistry and Invisalign (ortho experience a plus). Perio assisting is also a plus. Position is Monday through Thursday 8am-5pm and some Friday’s. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Professional and compassionate chair side manner Assist the doctors with all dental procedures Take digital radiographs/impressions Perform efficient and accurate procedures to help maintain doctors’ schedule and patient flow; create no patient wait time; maintain time flexibility for patient; be present, engaged, positive and ready to work at all assigned shift times. Breakdown, setup and stock treatment rooms Review patient chart prior to doctor arrival and log appropriate patient data during exam and treatment Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance Follow organizations safety policies and procedures Have knowledge and understanding of dental terminology sufficient to perform job successfully Verify patient health history (basic health review, medications, understanding impact with dentistry) and document appropriately in patients chart. Assist with other office duties as requested or needed Requirements Minimum of 1-2 years prior RDA experience preferred Bilingual (Spanish) a plus Dentrix Knowledge a plus RDA license as required by California Outstanding positive attitude and demeanor Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills Excellent communication skills Be team oriented Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
