DENTAL ASSISTANT: The dental assistant is primarily responsible for assisting the dentist in the direct provision of dental services to patients of the practice. Pay rate is based on experience level. This is an at-will employment position. Dental Assistant position qualifications: * Prior DA experience strongly preferred, but will consider recent graduates from Dental Assisting programs. * Active DANB certification required (or in-process and completed within 6 months if hired) * CPR Certified * Must be available to work 4-5 days per week (Mon-Fri now, Saturdays in future) * Bilingual (Spanish) strongly desired * General familiarity with Dental Management Software in a near paperless office * Professional and motivated * Positive attitude * Team oriented * Excellent verbal and written communication skills with patients, doctor and team members. * Aware of Sterilization, Preparation practices for common procedures. * Able and willing to learn * Firm amount of hours can be set based on position.
