Job description Spannhake Orthodontics The primary focus of the practice is to work with our patients to obtain a healthy and beautiful smile, taking oral and facial harmony into consideration. As a specialty practice in orthodontics and dental-facial orthopedics, Dr. Spannhakes goal is to provide consistently excellent orthodontic treatment to children, adolescents, and adults in a gentle and caring environment. Our progressive, multi-location orthodontic practice is looking for an outgoing Full Time (4 Days) or Part-Time (2-3 days per week) orthodontic assistant to join our team! Candidate must have a minimum of one (1) year Orthodontic dental assisting experience, must be MD x-ray certified, and must be willing to travel between our two locations. Requirements: Minimum of 1 year Orthodontic dental assisting experience Maryland Dental Radiology certification Strong work ethics Positive attitude Computer literate Ability to work independently Dependable Duties: (not limited to:) Obtaining orthodontic records (pan, ceph, photos, digital Itero scanning, CBCT) Uploading digital records Sterilizing instruments Assisting with routine orthodontic appointments, braces and Invisalign Interacting closely with and giving instructions to patients and parents Impression taking and pouring models Be team oriented Salary commensurate with experience. Travel between our Towson and Westminster offices required Full time - 4 days per week Part Time - 2-3 days per week. Please respond with a resume, including three references.
