Seeking multiple Dental Assistants Level I and II to work for a general family dentistry practice to provide excellent, personalized dental care. Their services range from general treatment, endo, ortho, implants, and periodontal therapy in this state-of-the-art facility. As a member of their team, your professional image, smiling personality, passion for dentistry, and your desire to genuinely care will ensure their patients achieve healthy, beautiful smiles. Summary of Responsibilities: Reporting to the Office Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to, the following: Prepare and seat patients before, during, and after dental treatment. Support dentist by preparing treatment room, patient instruments and materials Assist with charting patients information, electronically and recording notes of patient care Take patient x-rays as needed. Taking impressions, pouring and trimming cast models Assist with sterilization and disinfecting of instruments and operatory areas Provide patient education and post-operative instructions as well as maintain and order dental supplies Assist the dentist and hygienist during a variety of treatment procedures, when needed Participate in professional development courses for dental assistants and one-on-one training provided by the Dentists Assist with answering incoming calls emergencies, scheduling patient appointments, requesting patient records, and following up (when needed) Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with office procedures, policies and state regulations. Perform any other general office duties, tasks, and assignments as required. Our ideal team member will possess: Minimum of one (1) year of dental assisting experience Exercises knowledge of dental instruments and terminology Strong attention to detail Working knowledge of Dentrix Software, including entering treatment plans Excellent hand/eye coordination and dexterity Strong communication skills with a positive attitude and a focus on customer service and satisfaction Ability to multitask Executes all necessary lab procedures with accuracy Willingness to help support the practice in any capacity necessary Qualifications Dental assistant certificate High school or equivalent (Preferred) X-Ray Certification (Preferred)
