At Magness Orthodontics, we change lives one smile at a time. This well established, highly reputable second-generation private practice is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced candidate. This position is responsible for building and maintaining positive relationships with patients from initial contact through Treatment Completion. Scheduling Coordinator Duties: • Serve as primary initial contact for all patients in office and on phone • Follow up with patients as needed to reschedule broken appointments • Establish follow through protocols to ensure maximum conversion rate • Act as backup to Treatment Coordinator as needed including taking patient records during initial Patient Consultants, explaining benefits of orthodontic treatment, and presenting financial options for treatment plans • Registered Dental Assistant Certification is a plus or will be pursued within 1 year of employment Business Analyst and Insurance Duties: • Present Management with analysis of monthly production reports and conversion statistics • Solicit and verify New Patient Insurance coverage and benefits prior to New Patient Exam • Update insurance information in electronic patient chart • Code procedures and file insurance claims on behalf of patients • Answer patient questions regarding insurance payments and processing • Create annual budget and conduct monthly analysis of budget vs actual expenses in Quickbooks • Assist Marketing Director as needed for optimal contact with Current Patients, Referring Dentists, and the local community Education/ Experience Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required • Dental or medical office experience preferred • Microsoft Office Suite Experience • Customer service focus, Excellent interpersonal, time management and organizational skills • Experience with Quickbooks is a plus Job Type: Full-time Benefits: • Paid Holidays • Paid vacation after one year of employment • Simple IRA matching • Uniforms Provided • Discounted Orthodontic treatment for employee and immediate family members Schedule: • 9 hour shift • Monday to Thursday (and one Friday per month) Work Location: Near Memorial City Mall
