Description

Well established oral surgery practice in Dawsonville has an opening for a Lead Surgical Assistant. The candidate will work closely with our surgeon to perform office based surgical and implant procedures, general and local anesthetics, periodic surgical center cases, back office staff management and supply ordering. Necessary characteristics: Previous oral surgical assisting experience. Previous staff management experience preferred Excellent interpersonal communication and management skills. Working knowledge of major and minor oral surgical/implant assisting. Working knowledge of general anesthesia and conscious sedation patient management. Preferably DAANCE and/or AARC education. Demonstrates initiative and independence in problem solving. Our office is open four days a week. This is a 30-35 hour/week position. No Saturdays. Pay is based on experience.
