Job Description Our leading, high end, boutique style Dental Office has an opening for a experienced Dental Office Manager. Requirements: Must have previous Dental Front Office/Desk Experience Must have experience managing staff and providing direction for Dr’s schedules, dental assistants and hygienist Must have a strong work ethic, someone who can follow office policy and guide employees to perform at high levels of integrity Must have experience with Dentrix Software Experience with creating treatment plans and reviewing large case dental plans to patients and scheduling these treatment plans Experience with Care Credit Must have experience dealing with dental insurance companies We will only consider candidates that meet the above criteria, you must have both Dental Front Office/Desk Experience and you must know how to use Dentrix Dental Software Job Tasks and Responsibilities Work with a team of front desk, dental assistants, hygienists and specialists Respond efficiently to patient and doctor needs and inquiries Ensure the delivery of quality dental care to patients Resolve patient issues in accordance with company policies and procedures, healthcare regulations and dental board standards Manage patient scheduling and direct patient traffic flow Present treatment plans to patients, act as the treatment coordinator Organize and present financial arrangements to patients Processing of dental claims Coordinate with dental insurance companies to ensure claims are paid Manage specialist referral process Determine staff schedules and ensure operational standards are met Run and analyze management reports Maintain patient data according to regulations and company policies Take responsibility for the appearance and functionality of the office and the staff Maintain facilities and equipment in accordance with hygiene and safety regulations including OSHA Education and Experience Bachelors or Associates Degree preferred Management or supervisory experience Knowledge of dental terminology Knowledge of dental office procedures Knowledge of insurance plans and claims processing Knowledge of Dentrix required Knowledge of MS Office
