A (rare) front desk position is available at our well-established Periodontal practice in the Roswell/Alpharetta area. Our front desk/insurance and billing coordinator is retiring and moving to the beach after 17 years with our office! We offer a fun, upbeat work environment while providing the highest quality of patient care and this is an excellent opportunity for a motivated person to join our team. Our hope is to find someone before she departs so that they can train with her and learn all of her insurance tricks! If youre a jack of all trades in regard to dental front office skills, this might be the position for you! Our ideal candidate would be someone who is forward-thinking and understands the importance of office flow. Duties will include generic front desk tasks (check-in/check-out, answering incoming calls, scheduling, insurance verification, processing correspondence between our office and referring offices, etc.), but will also include managing our insurance claims and billing. Candidate should have a MINIMUM of 2 years of dental experience. Past periodontal experience IS NOT required; those with only general dentistry experience are encouraged to apply. Experience with both Dentrix and Dexis is a plus! We prefer candidates who live within 15-20 miles of the office. We offer very competitive pay, health insurance, and 401k. Office Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday - 8am to 5pm (arrive between 7:30 - 7:40 for a morning meeting at 7:45) Wednesday - 9am to 1pm (arrive between 8:30 - 8:40 for a morning meeting at 8:45) Dental Post applications are excellent, but we prefer to see your unique, individualized resume which includes all contact information and comprehensive work history.
