We are seeking a compassionate, skillful, patient- focused dental assistant. Ideal candidates should be registered dental assistants with their DA certificate. The ideal candidate should have excellent customer service skills, be dedicated to their career and have the ability to commit to the provided schedule. We are looking for self starters with a minimum of one year in-office dental experience, however, two years or more, would be a HUGE plus. As you join our team, you will work closely with our Dentist and Front Office Lead Coordinator. Full Time Permanent Pay rate: range $18-$22 (based on Qualification/Experience) Avenue Dental is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our amazing team! Dental Assistants are expected to effectively and efficiently: -Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, ensuring patient experience is a superior experience. -Explaining office procedures before treatment to patients, after and treatment plans. -Providing quality and compassionate care to every patient before, during, and after dental treatment. -Patient management including communicating with front desk. -Dental digital charting of patients pre-existing and accurate inputting of patient progress notes. -Providing patients with post-op instructions for oral care following dental treatment procedures, such as the placement of a restoration (filling), oral surgery etc.... -Taking impressions of patients teeth for study casts (models of teeth). -Preparing and maintaining dental instruments, supplies, and equipment. -Taking digital x-rays, collecting and recording patient health histories.
