The Center for Oral and Facial Surgery (KCOFS) is a private practice in Katy, TX that has a full-time job opportunity for an experienced dental front office assistant/front desk. We have a long prestigious history of providing the finest oral and facial surgical procedures for our patients for over 30 years. Our vision is to improve smiles and change lives. Job Snapshot Hours: M-Th 8AM - 5PM Friday 7AM – 3PM Professional growth opportunity for someone with previous dental office experience. Role Summary We are seeking a career minded growth-focused individual who will deliver the best patient experience with passion, successfully apply our company mission, vision, and core values, and have the ability to handle multiple tasks and manage front office duties. Outstanding work ethic with the ability to perform under pressure, meet deadlines, prioritize and deliver multiple tasks on time. What You Will Do . Greet and welcome patients to the practice. . Check in patients according to KCOFS protocol and verify or update their information using Open Dental. . Register new patients, update and collect patient demographics. . Assist patients in filling out information forms, verify paperwork, consent forms. . Schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments as needed. . Provide reminder calls about scheduled appointments and follow ups. . Proactive with patient communications and return missed calls and messages in a prompt efficient manner. . Maintain a professional reception area, organize and maintain front-desk area. . Keep track of the patient’s schedule and ensure treatment is timely. . Scan and upload anesthesia records, letters, and miscellaneous correspondence into patient charts. . Successfully apply KCOFS company mission, vision, and core values. . Participate fully in staff development through morning huddles, staff meetings, continuing education courses and performance evaluations. . Support other team members as needed. . Perform general office duties as required. Your Qualifications and Experience . Outstanding patient-centered relations skills to effectively handle clients from diverse backgrounds. . Self-starter with experience in a fast-paced, high-impact service environment. . Able to work independently with demonstrated multitasking and time-management skills. . Able to balance multiple competing priorities, self-direct and meet deadlines. . Able to keep records and patients’ personal information private and confidential. . Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills . Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure. . Open Dental experience (Strongly preferred). . Bilingual a plus!
