Our awesome private practice in Pearland is hiring a LEAD DENTAL ASSISTANT! We are a family-run operation and pride ourselves on treating our patients and staff just like family. Our practice cares for patients of all ages including children. Our ideal LEAD ASSISTANT would have VERY STRONG clinical skills and should also be reliable, punctual, organized, friendly and have a desire to learn and grow. In our office, the Lead Assistant will be the main chairside assistant and will be responsible for training any new assistants that may join the team in the future. Our doctors will rely heavily on the lead assistant for anything related to patient care. Candidate MUST BE PROFICIENT AT: -taking quality x-rays quickly -crown procedure (packing cord, making/cementing temps) -fillings and extractions -alginate impressions -adjusting partials and night guards -highly organized -surgery or IV sedation experience is a PLUS!
