We are seeking an experienced, expanded function, Full-time (our office hours) Dental Assistant. Someone who is willing to grow with our practice and be a contributor by providing exceptional service and outstanding patient experience. Our ideal candidate is punctual, outgoing, friendly, flexible and professional; this individual is passionate about patient care and interacts well with all ages and thrives in a fast-paced environment. An expanded function dental assistant will be a team leader and expected to have coronal polishing certification, HIPPA and OSHA compliant. Previous experience should include assisting doctor(s) with composites, crowns, RCT, gingivectomies, dentures, implant crown restorations, standard and surgical extractions. Our office uses Curve Dental software for patient charting. Experience with Curve is not required, but is preferred. You will be responsible for leading a team of dental assistants, training them to successfully assist with restorative procedures, patient care, sterilization, treatment room tear down and set-ups, ordering and re-stocking supplies. Other individual responsibilities include scanning for digital impressions, taking physical impressions, pouring plaster models, submitting cases to dental labs, fabricate Essix retainers and bleaching trays, provide complete in office whitening treatments, adding attachments for clear aligners. Candidate should be confident with taking FMX and CBCT scans for both Panoramic and 3D imaging. Additional hours/duties may be added, as the schedule/needs of the office change. Our Hours are: Mondays 8:30 am - 7:00 pm Tuesdays 8:30 am - 4:00 pm Wednesdays 8:30 am - 8:00 pm Thursdays 8:30 am - 2:30pm (when scheduled) 30-minute lunch breaks daily You will be working most, if not all, of these hours. Pay will be determined base on previous work experience and certifications earned. COVID-19 considerations: We have added additional air purifiers, PPE, cleaning protocols, etc.
