Palm Center Dental and Dentures is looking for a passionate Dental Hygienist to join our fun and talented team! We treat every patient with compassion and integrity. We believe in preventative dental care for our patients, and we educate them on how to maintain their dental health. Schedule: Mondays 11-7, Tuesdays 10-5, Wednesdays 9-5, Thursdays 11-7, Fridays 10-5 and the first Saturday of every month from 9-2 **We are flexible with these hours** Qualifications Associates or bachelors degree in dental hygiene Registered Dental Hygiene License from the state of Texas Current CPR Knowledge of Open Dental and XDR a plus Possess outstanding time management and communication skills Ability to work within a team for the good of the patient and practice Benefits Medical insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Disability and Life Insurance 401(k) plan Two weeks of paid time off plus up to seven paid holidays per year Complimentary dental care for employee and family members (within company guidelines) Complimentary continuing education Key Responsibilities Deliver direct dental hygiene patient care to patients as assigned through prophylaxis and periodontal therapy Make impressions of patients teeth for study casts, mouth guards or whitening Detects disease by completing probing, x-rays and oral cancer screening Applies fluorides and other cavity- preventing agents Fabricates restorations, cleans and polishes removable appliances Educates patients by giving oral hygiene and plaque control instructions and postoperative instructions, providing reminders of next dental hygiene visit Documents dental hygiene services Take your dental career to the next level – join our fun and talented team!
