The Dental Insurance/Financial Coordinator represents the practice in all facets of patient services, which may include, but are not limited to the greeting of patients, answering the telephone, routing phone calls to the appropriate terminals in the practice, calling various Insurance/Financial companies on behalf of the office, verifying Insurance/Financial eligibilities and benefits, creating treatment plans, maintaining patient records and coordinating patient flow. The Dental Insurance/Financial Coordinator is an essential mediator of the practice. They serve as a bridge between patients, Insurance/Financial companies, and other terminals in the office. It is therefore vital that the person holding this post is cheerful, friendly, understands the ins and outs of Insurance/Financials, highly effective in communicating, professional, efficient, swift, compassionate, caring and patient.
