Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic dental assistant looking for an exciting opportunity to join a new and innovative dental practice? Our startup practice is seeking a skilled and motivated dental assistant to help us provide patient care and some office duties. As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the dentist with procedures, setting up and breaking down exam rooms, taking patient X-rays, sterilizing instruments, and providing support to the dental team as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a dental office and a passion for helping patients achieve optimal oral health. Our practice is equipped with brand new state-of-the-art equipment and technology, ensuring that youll have everything you need to provide the excellent care for our patients. As we start hiring for this location, we are asking for the new Dental Assistant to help us at the front desk when not doing work with the clinical team and/or when we dont have patients scheduled. This is an expansion of a Nashville based Practice that is focused on seeing people that may require accommodations for dental appointments. Responsibilities: - Assisting the dentist with procedures - Setting up and breaking down exam rooms - Taking patient X-rays - Sterilizing instruments - Providing support to the dental team as needed - Educating patients on oral health and hygiene Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of a dental assistant program or equivalent experience - X-ray certification - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment - Reliable and punctual - Handling office duties such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and handling billing Practice Hours: - 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM Compensation: - Full Time: $20-$25 (DOE) If you are a team player who is passionate about dentistry and providing exceptional patient care, we would love to hear from you.
