This position allows you to work in a team setting with a group of equal minded dental professionals Smile Starters is a general dental practice that chooses to see ages 1 through 20. We are committed to educating our young patients on best practices for optimal dental health between visits. Hundreds of our former patients now bring their children to see us! Job Duties: Review Medical History with parent/guardian or patient. Take x-rays when appropriate Scale and Polish teeth Write chart notes Assist Dentist with charting the exam Gain permission from parents/guardians for sealants Speak with parents/guardians regarding todays visit Other duties as assigned to assist team Ideal Candidate: Enjoys teamwork (our hygienists have a dedicated group of DA IIs to assist in seeing our young patients) Enjoys working with children Likes a bright, happy environment Professional and friendly with great bedside manner Enjoys a busy active day
