PART-TIME OR FULL-TIME DENTAL HYGIENIST Trophy Dental of Plano is private, general dental office looking for a professional and friendly Dental Hygienist to join our team! Flexible Hygiene Work Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 1pm-4pm Thursday 7am-12pm Love your job and take pride in it? Then come join us! We are looking for a friendly, positive attitude team player. Full-Time Benefits: • Quarterly bonus (based on production/collection goals) • Paid time off • Yearly employee dental care allowance • Professional development assistance Responsibilities: • Conduct routine and periodontal cleanings for patients • Use intra-oral cameras to aid in patient education and treatment planning • Provide oral hygiene instruction and counseling to patients of all ages • Assist in the administration of fluoride treatments and dental sealants • Knowledge of antimicrobial agents for sub-gingival irrigation • Chart and document findings and treatment recommendations in electronic health records • Ability to explain treatment needs to patients and educate them on home care products • Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment • Provide post-operative instructions and schedule follow-up appointments Requirements: • Active dental hygiene license in the state of Texas • Proficiency in digital radiography • Experience with intra-oral cameras and dental charting • Knowledge of sterilization and infection control protocols • Ability to work well independently and partner with the Dentist • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills If you have a passion for people and dentistry, like to build relationships with patients, and are passionate about providing exceptional dental care, come join our office!
