Our growing dental practice is looking for an experienced and passionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a calm, reassuring and friendly demeanor as well as the ability to multitask in a fast-paced atmosphere. The candidate should also have a strong background in dental hygiene and be able to provide comprehensive dental care to our patients, from children to the elderly. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventive dental cleanings, taking x-rays, educating patients on proper oral hygiene habits and providing other preventive care services. We are looking for someone who is patient-focused and committed to providing quality care. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Clean and polish teeth using various instruments • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques • Remove plaque and calculus from teeth • Take and develop dental x-rays • Apply topical fluoride and sealants • Screen patients for oral diseases, such as gingivitis and periodontal disease • Provide patient education on diet, nutrition, and other preventive oral health care measures • Clean operatories and properly maintain dental hygiene supplies Savannah Lakes Family Dental, located in Rosharon, TX., is a privately owned dental practice that values the importance of our patients experience and oral health, as well as maintaining a healthy patient care relationship, which builds trust and honesty.
