Solaris Dental is searching for a friendly and highly skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our amazing team. We are truly fortunate to have a team that genuinely likes each other and goes out of their way to help each other. We are looking for a hygienist that is energetic, caring, dependable with a solid work ethic and a great bedside manner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent dental hygiene services to our patients including preventative care, education, oral health assessments and treatment of periodontal disease. This can be a full or part-time position. We are a growing private practice. Responsibilities: Talk with patients to ensure their comfort while in our care Conduct initial mouth screenings and co-diagnosis with dentist Identify oral health conditions: gingivitis, caries, periodontal disease and anomalies of the soft tissue Take diagnostic quality radiographs and intraoral photos Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, apply fluoride and place sealants Update patient health histories and keep detailed records of each patientand#39;s visit Adhere to infection control protocols, follow OSHA and HIPAA regulations Provide education on oral hygiene and disease prevention Requirements: Registered Dental Hygienist in the state of Texas Associate degree in dental hygiene from and accredited program Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong attention to details and ability to multitask Experience with digital dental records and computers Full time employment benefits (32hours): Paid company holidays Paid sick leave Paid vacation time Dental care for employee, domestic partner and children 401kand#43; Bonuses Pay range: Base pay $38-46 Some benefits are available for part-time If interested in this position, please email a copy of your resume with a cover page explaining why you would be a good fit for our office.
