We are seeking to hire a candidate with at least 2 years of experience in the dental front office. Someone who understands how the dental business runs from check in to check out. Open Dental experience is a plus! The Ideal Candidate will have the following: -Greets and cares for our patients in a friendly, helpful and positive demeanor (in person and on the phone) -Understands how to prep appointments and verify Insurances thoroughly while entering it into the patient chart--someone who can pay attention to detail! We are looking for someone who understands both in network and out of network (we are transitioning to be completely out of network so truly knowing how to talk to a patient about this change and help retain them is key) -Managing hygiene scheduling, someone who can be self-directed and independent to fill the holes and work the recare list in a timely manner. -Be able to phase and present treatment plans to the patient while being able to go over financial options (care credit, in house financing for ortho etc.) Thoroughly understanding how to understand amounts remaining, MTC, waiting periods, etc. -Understands the ledger and being able to explain where a balance is coming from to the patient while collecting at check out -Marketing, including social media -Understands, or is willing to learn medical billing Team player !
