Willow Creek Smiles is looking for a highly motivated and responsible Dental Assistant. We are a private practice office in the Tomball and Spring Klein area with a primary focus on patient care. An employment application will be sent to qualified candidates to be completed.* GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Provide outstanding customer service - Ability to build good rapport with patients and staff - Assist in general maintenance and cleanliness of the office - Assist the dentist at the dental chair while they are engaged in any treatment of patients - Take diagnostic radiographs and sterilize instruments - Ensure all OSHA, HIPAA, TX Dental Board, and company policies and procedures are properly followed - Stocks supplies in operatories, restrooms, resupply area, lab, breakroom, etc. as needed - Position will involve some cross training in receptionist duties as well - Previous experience and cross-training is a plus but training can be provided - While we currently arenand#39;t open on Saturdays, we may open 1-2 half days each month on Saturdays in the future HOURS OF EMPLOYMENT Monday: 10:30AM - 7:30PM Tuesday: 10:30AM - 7:30PM Wednesday: 10AM - 2PM Thursday: 8:30AM - 5:30PM Friday: 8:30AM - 5:30PM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS - Strong customer service skills - Ability to Multi-Task - Strong written and oral communication skills - Attention to detail - Regular, predictable attendance is required - Must have transportation and valid Texas Driverand#39;s License EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE -High school diploma or GED; Texas RDA certification and current CPR (BLS/AED) certification; Experience in the dental field with patient service, Open Dental, and dental records is preferred. LANGUAGE SKILLS Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish preferred but not required. Thank you for your consideration!
