Our practice is growing at Family Dentistry on Montford, and we are now searching for a ROCKSTAR hygienist to join our fantastic team by the end of May! Our ideal candidate will have a hyper-focus on patient care, possess the ability to multitask and demonstrate a willingness to go the extra mile. Responsibilities: -Review oral health history and conduct initial screening -Educate patients on proper oral care and the importance of diet on oral health -Take X-rays, intra-oral photos, and dental impressions -Remove plaque, and calculus to help prevent oral disease -Support the Dentist in all aspects of dental care -Apply preventive materials to teeth such as sealants andamp; fluoride -Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries, or periodontitis -Take intraoral photos -Schedule Recall appointments -Follow up with patients after Perio treatment Requirements: -Excellent written and oral communication skills -Registered Dental Hygienist License -CPR Certification -A friendly, team-player attitude The Hours are as follows as they switch between 2 schedules: Week A: Monday - Thursday 8 am - 3 pm (Thursdays 8-2 pm) Week B: Monday - Thursday 8 am - 5 pm with a 1-hour lunch and Thursday 8 am - 2 pm
