INSURANCE PAYMENT SPECIALIST SUPPORT WITH OCCASIONAL CLAIM SPECIALIST DUTIES Are you tired of working at the same old boring job? Are you looking for a new career? Look no further. Our dental group is expanding its work family! We are looking for an energetic, reliable individual. We are looking for an Insurance Payment Specialist to join our team! Our admin office is stationed in Cornelius NC and helps provide back-end resources for our multiple dental practices across NC, SC, and VA! The Insurance Payment Specialist will be responsible for entering insurance payments to patient accounts for the dental group. Responsibilities: Post insurance payments to accounts for our multi-practice group with accuracy. Deposit checks electronically into the corresponding bank accounts. Communicate daily with the offices and staff regarding payment questions Alerts Accounts Receivable staff on denials. Balances the deposit with what is posted into the computer system. Process and post insurance payment credit cards. Work with the team to achieve daily, weekly and monthly deadlines. PPO/Contractual adjustments. Other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate must have the following: Proficient with technology (computer, printer/copier, email). Has previous experience with Dental claims and payments (experience with General Dentistry and PPO fee schedules preferred). Ability to multitask and manage time and tasks efficiently. Detail Oriented. Be a problem solver. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Great written and verbal communication skills. A self-starter with a positive andamp; upbeat attitude Our company offers a friendly laid back atmosphere with a great benefits package!
